The Mobile-Axis Plant has a need for a Master Scheduler. The Mobile, Alabama site is a key Crop Protection Products facility that employs approximately 200 DuPont personnel and 90 contract partners. This dynamic Site has a flexible, non-union, high performance work system environment and is located on the lovely and affordable Gulf Coast - close to beautiful beaches, exciting outdoor activities, and live entertainment.
The Master Scheduler is responsible for scheduling the assets at the Mobile Manufacturing Center in Axis, Alabama. The successful candidate will be accountable for creating monthly and weekly production requirements and inventory plans that meet demand requirements from the DuPont Integrated Business Management (DIBM)/ Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP;) process. Capacity analysis and customer service policies will be used to govern schedules and finished product inventory plans. The Master Scheduler is responsible for creating and executing master scheduling time horizons and periods in accordance with business strategies and policies. The role will require collaboration with operations resources, technical support, material planners, demand planners, and customer service. The role is also responsible for continuous improvement of the master scheduling process and performance.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to the following:
Develops the site production plan at a detailed level using the DIBM/S&OP; plan considering all demand and requirements for production.
Maintains and communicates a valid time phased master schedule.
Implement, execute and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) policies to ensure stability and responsiveness.
Identify and resolve conflicts with supply and demand and available capacity for the CLT/MPS horizon.
Utilize what if simulations to evaluate proposed MPS changes to determine impact and execute approved changes effectively.
Recommend disposition of non-productive inventory as appropriate.
Identify options for optimization of the MPS plan (cost, capacity, etc.)
Participate with manufacturing and technology in the structure of Material Master/BOMs /Recipes.
Participate in the DIBM process and meetings.
Key interface with Demand Management, Customer Service, Technical and Production for the purpose of satisfying customer requirements and providing policy advocacy to the business.
Key interface with Master Planner and Asset Scheduler.
Responsible for key master production planning metrics, root cause and corrective action.
Maintain accurate date to support the master scheduling process (lead times, lot sizes, etc).
Facilitate the Daily/Weekly/Monthly meetings as needed.
BS/BA Degree in supply chain, business or technical , and/orAPICS certification, Module I, II and III (Can obtain before or while in the role), and/or 5
years relevant experience
SAP experience strongly preferred
APO/BW (or equivalent) experience
Green Belt certification strongly preferred
Six Sigma Black Belt and/or certified Lean Practitioner preferred
Operations, Scheduling and planning experience preferred
Manufacturing and/or contract operations experience preferred
Operations, scheduling, and planning experiences preferred
