Shift Supervisor - Specialty Chemicals

Responsibilities o Supervise shift operations and assume overall plant responsibility during non-routine business hours and periodic temporary day shift assignments. o Coordinate minor maintenance activities during non-routine business hours and scheduled day shift assignments by monitoring the safety aspects of the job, ensuring required work permits completed, and accepting the job upon completion. o Responsible for plant product quality during shift operations. o Ensure plant housekeeping standards are maintained. o Assist in troubleshooting equipment/product quality problems with operators. o Communicate problems and key issues to call duty personnel and/or plant management. o Coordinates non-routine business hours shipments of products. o Completes various improvement projects planned. o Is EAP director during non-routine business hours shifts. o Coordinates Chemtrec phone calls during non-routine business hours shifts. o Responsible for site security during shift operations. Coordinates security response with Facility Security Officer and/or Alternate Facility Security Officer. o Makes contacts for operator and maintenance personnel call-ins as required. o Completes general plant inspections during non-routine business hours, including but not limited to the waste water system piping (LeCreek to river line, GWIP to river and/or tie-in to previous line, and IW1, IW2, IW3, IW4 & IW5 lines), process water wells, and Syngenta Acid piping. o Observes site for potential intruders, trespassers, or other non-authorized person; reporting suspicious items, persons or activities. Job requirements/Candidate profile Qualifications Must have at least 5 years of manufacturing operations experience (chemical industry preferred) Must have process safety experience Must have proven leadership experience Must be knowledgeable of RCRA and SPCC Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts (shift work) 180005Q8

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
